We'll be staying on a gorgeous 50 acre oceanfront eco-boutique resort where they grow most of their food. Perfect for our plant-based and meat eaters alike. It'll be off-the-charts delicious food!

The VENUE
We'll be staying at Hawaii Island Retreat, on 50 acres of sacred land including gardens, goat sanctuaries, and a private cove for whale watching.
The land holds stories, and the hint of magic, veiled in legends and misty mornings. Come experience the mystique and healing quality of the land. It is green travel at its most magical.
Experience life as our ancestors did – in deep connection with the land and the other creatures who share it. You'll have the opportunity to visit the goat dairy, enjoy luscious fruit picked and eaten right off the tree, help the gardener harvest vegetables from the organic garden. Reconnect your relationship to the living world.
The SPA
A beautiful Spa on the property offering Hawaiian and other holistic treatments and massages. The Maluhia Spa uses only organic herbs and oils, growing many of the fruits, herbs, and vegetables from which their signature products are created. Here you'll find an elegant wellness center in complete harmony with nature.

Yurt
Enjoy glamping in a yurt for a rustic experience. Designed for nature lovers and privately tucked away next to the sacred valley and infinity pool. They each include a toilet and sink but not a shower. There is a separate shower house that is shared with other guests a short walk down the path. There is no wifi at the yurts but free access to internet at the main lodge.
Room Suites
The spacious suites are decorated with turn-of -the-century-Hawaiian furniture. Each suite has a large bathroom with an oversized soaking tub & separate shower. The Oceanfront suites face a private cove. The Garden View suites face the beautiful native Hawaiian gardens. Amenities include a robe, refillable water bottles & fresh flowers.
Bungalow
Ocean View Bungalows face a private cove with sprawling views of the pacific ocean. These bungalows include a large bathroom and oversized shower but no soaking tub. Bungalows are tucked away and private. Amenities include a robe, refillable water bottles, and fresh flowers
